It's my 100th Post!

I’m so excited.  It’s my 100th post!!

And on this incredible date of 12/12/12 I also reached a milestone 100 blog followers!  Thank you all for following my little blog. It started out as a diary of sorts. A way to chronicle and remember this crazy phase in my life when I moved to London and to share what I was up to with my family and friends back home. I never would have dreamt I’d have 100 posts and 100 followers.

So on this momentous day of numbers, I thought instead of writing about me like I always do (booooring), today, it’s about you.  So blog followers, all 100 of you, let me tell you a little bit about who you are, where you come from, how you find your way here and what you do on this blog.

First off, how much do you like this blog? I hope a lot, but proof is in the pudding. Excluding my own pageviews, this blog has had its virtual pages read over 37,00 times. Wow.

How has the viewership progressed? Quite nicely if I do say so! We're gaining some momentum! Thanks to those of you who have been with me from the beginning, and to the newbies.

And now for the really interesting part. Where do you live?

This is really incredible to me. US - make sense. UK - sure.  But Ukraine, Canada, China?! If you read my blog from the Ukraine or China, please drop me a line. Seriously. I want to say hello.

The data also shows that more of you find my blog through Google search than any other way. Top Keywords used:
  • move to London
  • moving to London
  • carnival fascination

And the most read Posts:
     1. Fascination
     2. Blog Post #1
     3. Rain & Peacocks

Thanks again everyone. I appreciate your interest, your comments and your interaction with my blog. It's been a lot of fun to write and the 100 of you encourage me to keep it going.

Thanks again & Happy Holidays!

  1. I think I first read your story in 'The Miamian'. I'm a fellow Redhawk (although I'm actually old enough to consider myself a proud Redskin Alum). Love reading your adventures!

  3. Figured I would drop a line. I am from Canada and spent some time in England last year but unfortunately had to cut my time short and return to Canada. I hope to be able to return someday, dam recession! I love reading about others who are living in England and their stories. Congrats on the 100th post :) London is wonderful this time of year with all the decorations!
