I was on the BBC

That's right, I'm famous! I've had my 15 seconds of fame in Britain...well 5 seconds is probably more like it but I'll take it!

Here's what happened: The BBC has a show called "Celebrity Masterchef" where D-list celebs compete for the title of best chef.  They filmed one of their shows at our Google office. Their cooking challenge was to prepare a lunch and dessert for a group of 150 people. I was an audience participant and I tried the meatballs and berry crumble. The audience doesn't actually get to vote but to pad out the show, several people are asked for their feedback on the meal. The camera crew came my way during the dessert.

They wanted me to first take a bite of the berry crumble and then give my thoughts on it. So that's what I did. I popped a blackberry in my mouth and then went on some rant about the crumble including "I have to say, I was really disappointed". Of course the only part that made it on air was me eating, a shot of my blackberry-dyed mouth and this stupid quote: "I have to say, I was really disappointed".

The camera really does add 10 pounds, right?
